Problems with 2013 Toyota Tacoma ENGINE

Faulty secondary air pump or secondary air injection valve. lost power in motion on city street

Truck turns over, but not start without starter fluid (spark confirmed, no fuel). p2440 code displayed; cleared by scanner and code has not returned but problem persists. once started with starter fluid, truck runs and drives normally, confirming no issues with fuel system. problem usually re-occurs only on cold (left overnight) starts, but occasionally re-occurs even with a warm engine (i.e., stopped for gas).

While driving at 40 mph the vehicle acts as if it's not getting correct power and feels like transmission or torque converter is lagging the the vehicle back. this issue only happens at 40 mph and feels as if vehicle my die going 40mph down the road.

I am professional fire investigator assigned to investigating the origin and cause of a fire involving the subject vehicle identified. the evidence revealed to date supports that the cause of the fire was the result of the failure identified in nhtsa campaign number: 13v557000. my concern involves the consequence section listed in the campaign. specifically the consequences section does not include that if left unaddressed, a failure of the valve springs may result in the fire event. a complete origin and cause written report has been generated of the efforts conducted and analysis to date. i've been provided permission by our client share all information generated to date with nhtsa representatives. however, because it is considered a private investigation i'm concerned about attaching the confidential report through this nhtsa website. the documentation available also includes 242 digital images captured which include the vehicle on fire, examination of the subject vehicle at a storage facility, documentation of the loss location and the efforts conducted during a nondestructive examination. at this point of the investigation we are ready to do the teardown (destructive efforts) and examination of the cylinder head, valves ...

When at cruising speed between 45-65 mph the steering wheel will begin to shake back and fourth/shimmy. also at these speeds the engine begins to make noise compared to up and down revving sound it is mild sound maybe a 1000rpm change but the rpm gauge is not moving. reminder this is in cruise mode. *tr

Truck will making a rattle or knocking noise under load usually i can hear at 25 mph sometime 45 mph even at 65 mph at high way speed . that sound come from front of the engine, sound like timing chain losing tension . took to dealer the tech also heard that noise but they said nothing they can do about it right now ,and they recommend to use premium gas and i did that but still the same problem . contact toyota of usa for two month back and forth no resolve.all they got to said is not a drive-ability problems, they can't do anything about it yet. that noise really annoying, i can hear more and more every day but dealer and toyota of usa can't do anything about that.... i very very worrying one day my engine lock up or break down on the road... *tr
