Tl* the contact owns a 2007 toyota tacoma. The contact stated that when refueling the vehicle, fuel would spill from the fuel tank abnormally. The contact took the vehicle to his personal mechanic and was told that the filler and overflow lines would need to be replaced. The contact was concerned that the failure could cause a fire. The failure mileage was unknown, but the current mileage was 44,400.

I have a 2007 tacoma 4x4 5 or 6 times over the past year i have gone out into the garage to find the fuel pump has started running on its own. I can take the keys out of the ignition with no results. The only way to stop it is to turn the ignition back on and then off again.
