I have a 2006 x runner with 14000 miles on tires. Tire started cracking and chunks coming out of tread. Went to three firestone dealers. 1st said no problem would replace for 1200. 2nd did not have time you look at them. 3rd said the tire needed to come of the truck there was a problem. The problem was bridestone but cost me 615.00 tires are bridestone potenza reo50a p255/45/r18 99v bl. *jb

I have been reading some forums and talked to the previous owner lately and i am under the understanding that these tires have been cracking.
