Driving to my home on thursday, august 4, i heard a rapping noise start in my engine. I had taken it to the garage (d&j auto) the following day. Upon there inspection, they found a hole in the block of my engine. After swapping engines out of my vehicle, i had further inspected the old engine. Consumer received recall 01e41000 letter on trailer wire harness converter. Dealer inspected wire harness, and stated wire harness was not the one on recall. Vehicle does have the problem as described under recall.*ak consumer further states that the trailer lights blew out the fuse for the tail light, consumer states dealer refuses to replace faulty part. *tt
