Rear leaf spring recall, toyota has failed to repair. This recall is over a year with "no repair available" over a year to receive a second notice indicating toyota is searching for parts still. This is a safety hazard every time vehicle is driven. Leaf springs are rusted and could fail. Why no corrective action and still no date available to correct?

Toyota can't build frames for their trucks. Mine is rotted. Toyota plans to spray it with a rust inhibitor. They have recalled every 2006 and older tacoma for this issue and won't recall the 2007's. I now own a pile of junk and toyota won't do what's right even though they clearly know there's an issue.

Why is no one holding toyota accountable to the leaf spring recall they announced in september 2014. There is a verified safety hazard with weak springs possibly breaking next to a plastic fuel tank. Toyota simply announced the recall and here we are 9 months later with no solution. Will you please look in to this? Thank you.

After a couple of months i started experiencing a loud "squeak" coming from the rear of the vehicle and a "whistle" at speeds of 65-80mph. I contacted dealer and took it in for them to troubleshoot the issues. After about 4 months of ownership along with the above mentioned problems i started noticing a heavy vibration at slow speeds.
